Last updated: 2 November 2026

Who operates Pub O'Clock?

Pub O'Clock is an independent, light-hearted entertainment website operated by Stephen Oggelsby, who is responsible for the personal information processed through the website.

For privacy enquiries, contact:

Information you provide

You can use Pub O'Clock without creating an account or providing your name or email address.

The calculator processes your selected chaos rating and preferred departure time within your browser.

Hosting and essential operation

Pub O'Clock is built and hosted using Base44.

Base44 processes technical information needed to deliver and operate the website.

Its platform uses a persistent browser identifier for certain functional requests. This is separate from your choice about optional analytics.

Technical information such as IP addresses may also be processed when you access the website.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we use Base44's built-in analytics to understand how the website is used and improve it.

This may include visitor numbers, approximate location, device information, visit duration, pages visited and interactions with selected features.

We currently track three optional interactions:

  • Sharing a Pub O'Clock result.
  • Downloading an Emergency Departure Certificate.
  • Sharing a Friday Ministry Notice.

These events may include the selected chaos percentage or Ministry Notice number. They do not intentionally include your name, email address, message recipients or the contents of shared images.

Optional analytics are disabled unless you explicitly accept them.

You can change your choice at any time through Privacy & analytics.

Our legal basis for optional analytics processing is your consent.

Analytics records may be retained for up to 60 days. Withdrawing consent stops future optional SDK analytics collection but does not automatically erase records already collected.

Images and sharing

Pub O'Clock generates its shareable images within your browser.

When you choose to download or share an image, your browser or device handles that action.

Browser storage

We store your analytics preference so that we can respect your choice on future visits.

Base44 also uses a persistent identifier for functional platform requests, independently of optional analytics.

We do not use advertising cookies or install third-party advertising trackers.

Service providers and international processing

Pub O'Clock uses Base44 for hosting and analytics.

Information processed through Base44 may be stored or processed in the United States.

You can read Base44's privacy policy at:

https://base44.com/about-us/legal/privacy-policy

Your rights

Under applicable UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if Pub O'Clock's features, service providers or privacy arrangements change.

Pub O'Clock is intended for amusement, not surveillance. The Ministry of Urgent Refreshment has quite enough paperwork already.
